3D Lips

Hey everyone! Here is my next installment for my Fall looks this year. I was looking for some inspiration so I researched Fall makeup trends for 2013 and found some good looks. One of the looks that caught my eye was bright red lips. It inspired me to do a slightly 1940's look.

I went for a neutral eye which was sort of smokey and an intense ombre lip. On the lids I used soft pinky peach and some light browns and taupe shadows to define the crease. I wanted to keep the eyes nice and soft so that the focus would be on the lip.

For the lips I wanted them to be quite bright but I also wanted to so an ombre lip. The ombre lip is great for making your lips look more plump as it can make them look 3D by shading the corners with a darker colour. The ombre lip can be done with any colour whether it be red, nude, pink, plum or even blue if you feel adventurous ;) Once you have a lighter shade and a dark shade it can be done :)

Antique Blue

I've been excited to start my Fall and Winter looks since the beginning of August. I do like Fall because Halloween is so much fun, I mean who doesn't like dressing up as something weird and wonderful :) I also can't wait do do my Holiday looks this year. I have some fun looks for this year and can't wait to share them with you. Now on with my first Fall look of 2013 :)

I recently got some new gold shadows from Inglot one was an intense true gold and the other was a more antique looking gold. I got really inspired to do an antique gold look to kick off my Fall 2013 looks. Here is my colour palette:

I decided to pair the golds with a deep blue to contrast. Most of the blue shadows that you see now have a slight green hue in them or are more of a teal but I wanted a true blue and navy that has a cool tone which will contrast nicely with the warmth in the golds. Here is what I came up with:

 This look is great for blue eyes and the blue will also make brown eyes pop but it will look amazing on anyone so give it a try! It is slightly smokey and wearable but has that intense gold pop on the lid.

Smokey Rainbow

Hey Everyone! I have another bright look for you all. This post is a bit late but better late than never :)
This look came to be because I was heading out to a club couldn't decide what colour to wear so I chose them all naturally! I have lots of ideas for Fall, Halloween and the Holidays so there will be a blog post up every week. This is a great look to catch anyone's attention as it will look a like a beautiful prism of colour on your eyes. Since I was going clubbing I decided to make this look a little more smokey than neon so I used the deeper colours on the lid like the green, blue and purple. I also added some black to the outer corner and crease to deepen it.
